Harper Green Ranks in the Top 25% Nationally for Attendance

At Harper Green School, we have been working hard to support the attendance of all our students.
Good school attendance is crucial for both learning and exam success, as well as for ensuring that students are actively involved in the fantastic extracurricular activities, trips and experiences available at our school.
As a school, we genuinely appreciate the support of all our parents and carers in ensuring students attend regularly, as this helps to minimise lost learning due to absences. We have been working closely with our pastoral team, including our Student Welfare Intervention Officers, and alongside the Department for Education (DFE) as part of the Attendance Hub programme. Additionally, we are instigating an exciting national project with ImpactEd to survey the students on their attitudes toward school and exploring ways to enhance their engagement with all aspects of school life.
We are delighted to share that Fisher Family Trust has recognised the hard work of staff, students, and parents by ranking us in the top 25% of schools nationally for attendance. The Fisher Family Trust works with over 10,000 schools across the country.
This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire school community and provides a strong foundation for continued improvement. Every lesson counts.
