Year 11 Students Celebrate GCSE Success

Students and staff returned to school today for a memorable GCSE Results Day, celebrating their incredible achievements with family members and staff. The day was filled with smiles and happy faces as students opened their results, surrounded by proud and supportive family members, teachers and friends.
This year's fantastic results have highlighted the hard work and dedication of our students with 72% of students achieving a grade 9-4 in English. Some individual successes include Zainab Malik, who celebrated three grade 9s, one 9-9 in Combined Science, three grade 8s and one grade 6, while Dima Kabour excelled with an outstanding seven grade 9s, two grade 8s and one grade 7. Luke Whitehead achieved three grade 9s, two grade 8s and four grade 7s and Kasey Callaghan celebrated two grade 9s, three grade 8s and four grade 7s.
Headteacher Ms Heppenstall commented, "I could not be more proud of our students today. Their hard work and determination have truly paid off and it's wonderful to see their efforts recognised with their incredible results. I would also like to say thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families, whose excellent support has been crucial in helping our students succeed. It has been fantastic to see so many happy faces receiving the grades they deserve today. We wish them all the best for the future."
